Being a musician in 2016 can be frustrating at times. I’ve been a musician for a long time. Over twenty years. I’ve had lots of highs and lows along the way.
Every once in a while I lose sight of what it is that drew me to music in
the first place. I sometimes focus so much on the business side of music that I forget what it is that’s magical and transcendent about writing and performing music.
Last night I had an experience that reminded me of why I play music in the first place. I made a video about my experience.
