Did you know that many publishers and libraries will pay upfront money for your tracks? This of course isn't always the case, and it's probably very seldom the case when you're just starting out. But as you move up the ranks and build your credits, some publishers will actually give you upfront money to create new tracks. However, they won't always tell you this is an option and there's an art to bringing this up.
