I just posted the replay of the webinar I did this past Saturday with Eddie Grey on the topic of "Creative Ways To Use Loops In Music Licensing" in the member's area.
One of the exciting things about hosting the monthly presentations we offer for our premium members, is that I get to keep learning and expanding my knowledge about sync licensing and how to make money with my tracks, while also sharing great content you won't find anywhere else, with all our premium members at the same time.
In our most recent webinar, Eddie Grey dives deep into how to use loops in tracks you license in creative ways that allow your tracks to stand on their own.
I have to admit, going into this most recent webinar, I was a little skeptical. I know there are composers using loops in licensing, but it always felt a little bit like cheating to me. I'm old school and prefer to actually play real instruments. I've been hesitant to use loops in my tracks and in fact have never used them in any of the tracks I've licensed over the years.
But, after doing the webinar with Eddie, I walked away much more open minded. I probably won't run out and start using loops in all my tracks, but I now see it as one more legitimate tool at my disposal in my "musical tool bag", among many tools. It's also a great way to save time if you're writing tracks that need to be delivered quickly, which is often the case in the music licensing industry.
