As a life long musician and someone who has been making a full time living related to music, in one way or another (teaching, performing, licensing, etc) for over 20 years, I'm super passionate about helping musicians figure out how to make their dreams a reality.
From a very young age I knew I didn't want to lead a "conventional" life. I knew that I wanted to create a life of passion and meaning. I wanted to live an inspired life. When I discovered guitar at 12 years of age I knew that I had found the key that would unlock my ability to express myself in a creative and authentic way.

Fast forward a few years...After high school I headed to Berklee College Of Music to further my education and focused on songwriting as my major. It was at Berklee that I first learned about the concept of music licensing as a possible career path.
Although I was intrigued by the idea, it wasn't until several years later after my band of many years broke up that I returned to the idea of licensing my music as a means to make money with my music and take my music career into my own hands.
I hit a stride pretty quickly and got multiple placements in several tv shows in my first year. That grew over the next several years until I decided to launch How To License Your Music dot com in 2008. Then, things started to really fall into place. I got another band together, and was able to make a living solely off of my music related endeavors; a combination of teaching, performing and licensing.
In 2017, after nine years of running online courses, working with hundreds of musicians in the licensing space and helping them get started, I launched my most extensive online resource to date: How To License Your Music Premium.
