Slowly but surely my numbers started improving. I got up to 50 followers. Then 100. Then 200. I know how over 400 followers and several thousand listeners each month. Not mind blowing, but a quantum leap forward from where I was just a few months ago. A 7,453% increase to be exact! I also received my
first payment from CD Baby for my Spotify streams recently. It wasn't life changing money, but it was enough that I can see the potential.
I'm so intensely focused on licensing these days, that I don't have much more time to devote to Spotify than I already am spending. But, I see the potential for growth and so my plan going forward is to simply keep doing what I've been doing. Which essentially, is to release music on a regular basis and pitch to as many playlists as possible.
One of the keys to growing your Spotify listeners is getting featured on playlists. All it takes is one or two of the right playlists to increase your fan base dramatically!
