I'll be hosting a live Q & A for members of How To License Your Music Premium this Friday, February 15th @ 7:30 PM EST with TV/Film composer John
Delvento.
If you haven't already, be sure to check out my recent podcast with John on how to make a full time
income writing music for libraries.
About John Delvento
John has been a lover and student of music as long as he can remember. He began studying the euphonium, a unique brass instrument, as a child, and performed in his first solo recital at the age of 13. John was a double music major at The Hartt School studying music education and performance. During his college years he enjoyed a variety of performing and teaching experiences, dabbling in music composition and production
projects throughout.
It wasn't long before advertising agencies and music libraries began using John's music, leading to commercial placements with The Science Channel, Food Network, Nike, Toyota, and Visa, among others. Network television shows that have featured John's work include "Chopped," "Nova," "Practical Jokers," "Hunting Hitler," "Amish Mafia," "Black Ink Crew," "Love and Hip-Hop," "The Island,", "WWE: Smackdown", and more. In addition to commercials and television, John also composes short and feature
film scores, most notably for the documentaries "Veil of Silence," and "FagBug: Nation," and the award-winning horror film "Lucifer's Angels."
