I've decided to post a few free lessons between now and Saturday, when the program launches, to give you an idea of the type of information we'll be covering in the deep dive and to give you some tips and things to think about as you prepare to get started licensing your music.

In today's lesson, I address the types of files you need when submitting them to music libraries, publishers, supervisors, etc... Music publishers, library owners and supervisors tend to be pretty busy people, with multiple plates spinning at any give time. So being professional and easy to work with is really important and will go a long way towards building ongoing relationships in this business. The more prepared you are upfront, the more people will want to work with you.
