New Podcast: Six Figure Music Licensing As A TV Composer With Eddie Grey

Published: Wed, 11/08/17

I just posted my latest podcast, a conversation with full time TV composer Eddie Grey, here.

Eddie Grey is an alumni of How To License Your Music.com.   Three years ago Eddie took one of my courses, then another, and then another. He eventually took ALL of my courses.  Then he took all the courses I created with my producer, Gary Gray.  Then he started working with Gary on his production and arranging skills.

Within just three years, Eddie has parlayed the information he learned from working with Gary and I, as well as others, into a thriving career as a TV composer, earning a comfortable, LA style living.

Eddie just finished the theme song for a show called “The Healer” on TLC, he’s the main composer for the show “Born This Way” on A&E, and his music has been heard on tons of other shows, including Shark Tank, Dance Moms”, NatGeo’s “Wicked Tuna,” ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise,” Bravo’s “Millionaire Matchmaker” and CBS’s “The Young and The Restless”, to name a few.

Eddie and I are in the process of creating a new course together called “How To Be A Full Time TV Composer” where we cover, in detail, how to build a career as a TV composer.  (More details soon)

If you want to learn how to make a living from licensing, writing music for television, give this one a listen.
