It's hard to believe, but I just posted the 76th episode of The Music, Money and Life podcast! Over the last three years, this podcast has turned into what I believe is one of the best
resources out there for musicians trying to figure out how to navigate their way through the sync licensing maze, and really the music business in general, as more and more I'm starting to venture into other topics like branding, social media marketing and so on.
As you know, Music, Money and Life is a
completely free resource. I've never charged a dime for my podcast and I have no plans to. It's a labor of love and it's one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I do related to running my website, How To License Your Music dot com
However, it does take considerable time and effort to book guests, interview them, edit podcasts, promote the podcasts and so on. Each podcast takes multiple hours of work, by
several different people, to put together.
If you enjoy the podcast and would like to support my mission of educating musicians on how to be successful in the music business, there are two ways you can support my efforts:
1) Support me on Patreon. I just set up a new patreon page where you can support me by pledging as little as 1 dollar per episode I create. You'll also get access to a bunch of cool bonuses available only to people who support me on patreon.

In my latest podcast, Episode #76 of Music, Money And Life, I speak with Michael Nieves, the
founder of Sugaroo Music. Sugaroo handles licensing for artists like Wilco, Kate Bush, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ani DiFranco, Tom Tom Club and many more.
In our podcast, Michael and I discuss: 1) How to get the attention of someone like Michael and Sugaroo 2) What to say when you reach out and submit your music initially to
companies like Sugaroo 3) The importance of having a manager and a team 4) The three criteria Michael takes into consideration when deciding to work with artists 5) Why you should study the market 6) The importance of face to face networking 7) Why you should be making trips to places like LA and Nashville
regularly (If you don't already live there) and much more!
