New Video: Jack Of All Styles, Master Of None

A question I get asked a lot when I consult with songwriters trying to break into the licensing game is “what kind of music should I write”.   Is it better to just write what you’re inspired to write and then pitch that, hoping that it works for licensing?   Should you try to write a little bit of everything, so that you cover all your bases stylistically, thereby increasing your odds of landing placements? Or, is better to just stick to one style and do that really, really well?

In my latest video, I explore this topic and share my thoughts on how I think you should approach this.  My answer and insight might surprise you.

On January 2nd, 2017 I'm launching my biggest and most comprehensive training program yet, The 180 Day Music Licensing Challenge.

The 180 Day Music Licensing Challenge is a six month long, interactive program designed to teach you how to start making money licensing your music in tv, films and ads.

The 180 Day Music Licensing Challenge includes one on one coaching with myself and producer Gary Gray, 180 daily licensing leads, over 15 hours of in depth training and another 10 hours of bonus interviews with music licensing professionals.

I've added an additional four hours of training and content to this latest training program that you won't find anywhere else!

The 180 Day Music Licensing Challenge starts January 2nd, but if you register by December 19th you'll get three additional bonus courses on music production and music mastering that I created with producer Gary Gray.

You'll also get a free Skype session with Gary, one of your songs mastered for free and an in depth critique of your music's production. (This bonus package alone is worth over $500.00)
