I don't know
about you, but I'm ready to take 2014 by storm. There's something about the start of another
year that always motivates me to assess where I am in life and contemplate what
changes I want to make. 2013 was a good
year for me, but if I'm really honest with myself I know I can do better in
2014.
One of my
strategies for 2014 is what I call "the do something every day approach". I wrote about this a couple weeks ago. The idea is to simply do something every day
that will move your career forward. I did
a lot in 2013, but there were a lot of days where I didn't do as much as I
could have to move my career forward. I
have the same excuses as most of us. I'm
busy with my business, relationships and...well... life.
But in
2014, no such excuses are allowed. I'm
going to do something every single day to move closer to my goals. What are my goals? They're probably similar to yours. License more music. Move my music career forward. Make More money and so on.
There's always something to do every single day that will move us towards our goals. For the
first quarter of the year I will be participating in my very own "90 Day Music
Licensing Challenge". I signed a few new
publishing deals last year and licensed a few new songs, but I want to do more
next year, so I'm going to participate in my own "90 Day Music Licensing
Challenge".
The 90 Day
Music Licensing Challenge involves submitting your music to one new place ever
day, for 90 days. If you want to join me
and ten other participants, sign up today to to reserve your spot. The 90 Day Challenge is a great way to move
your music licensing career forward by simply submitting your music to one new
place, every day, for 90 days.
The 90 Day
Challenge is starting on Wednesday, January 1st, New Years Day! The last day to sign up is December 31st.
