4th Of July Special And Important Announcement

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to share a few things that I have in store for How To License Your Music.com and all my readers.
I've been running my site and writing this newsletter for three years now! It's hard to believe that I've been at this that long. When I originally started this site in 2007 it was essentially a site and newsletter that I directed my musician friends to. I only had about a dozen subscribers to my newsletter in the beginning. Since then my subscriber base has grown to over 8,000 songwriters, producers, publishers and artists!
Writing this newsletter and providing this service truly is a labor of love. I've enjoyed and continue to enjoy working with all of you via this newsletter as well as my more in depth training programs and through my one on one coaching services. I've seen many artists over the last few years go on to achieve success and it's truly an honor to play a role in helping artists achieve some of the goals they've set for themselves.
Music plays a very special role in my life. I've been writing music and playing the guitar for over twenty years now. I feel old when I say that, but the truth is I'm more excited than ever about not only my own music, but the music industry in general. There are so many exciting possibilities for musicians in terms of ways to connect with and find fans, license music, sell music and distribute music, that I'm really more inspired than I've been in a long time. Although I've shared some of my own music with my readers in the past and have included samples to some of the tracks I've licensed in my programs, I look forward to sharing more of music with you, as well as my ideas and techniques on promoting it, in the near future.
Which brings me to my first announcement. I have several exciting things in store for my site. With so many readers to my newsletter I see a real potential for creating more of a community of songwriters interacting and sharing ideas, music and experiences with each other. So in the near future I'll be rolling out some new tools for everybody to connect and share with. I'm still putting the finishing touches on this so I'm not quite ready to share the exact details yet. But I can tell you it's going to be free and you're going to like it! A lot!
I'm also working on a new video program about the music licensing business. This will be a product I charge for and will be available as both a streaming video online as well as in DVD format. This is going to rock. More about that in the near future.
I truly appreciate all of you that read my newsletters, purchase my products, interact with me via email, take my courses, etc.. This site and newsletter really are for you. So a huge thanks for continuing to be a part of what I'm doing!
