One Slot Open For The 90 Day Challenge
One of the people I was holding a slot for for my upcoming 90 Day Master Class had to back out at the last minute due to circumstances beyond his control, so there is currently one slot open if anyone is interested. It's first come, first serve. Grab it here if you're interested:

Music Clearance Defined
One of the reasons there are lots of opportunities for independent musicians to get their music licensed is that it is easier to get legal permission from the writer/copyright holder of an independent song than it is to get the rights to use a "hit" song. This is something that in the music licensing industry is known as "music clearance".
What is music clearance? It's simply getting permission from whomever owns the rights to the song to use the song in a production. With more established songs and artists there is typically much more legal hoopla to jump through and of course the song itself will be much more expensive to license as well. This is why many productions actually prefer to work with indie artists in this domain. It's less expensive, easier and more efficient to license music from unestablished artists. Ahhh.... there is justice in the world afterall!
So... are you ready to take the plunge and start licensing your music in 201? I can assure you no one is going to come knocking on your door asking you if you have any music to license! I've recently put together a program that I've been getting rave reviews about from nearly everyone who has purchased it. It's the most comprehensive program on the music licensing business I've ever put together, and to the best of my knowledge it's the only program on the market of its' kind. I call the program the "A - Z Of Music Licensing
" and it's an audio program that includes a comprehensive industry directory, my ebook "A Songwriter's Guide To Music Licensing", three audio interview with music licensing professionals, sample contracts and much more. I also offer the by itself or with both phone and email coaching.
