Q And A Video Series
One of my goals this year related to this newsletter is to provide more valuable content for all of my subscribers, both free and premium. I had planned on doing a free webinar this month that was going to be a Question and Answer webinar about the topic of music licensing, but the cost of hosting a webinar for a list as large as mine turned out to be much more expensive than I thought. Since I don't want to charge for this content I've decided instead to do a series of Q and A Videos about the music licensing industry which I will be posting on my website. If you have questions or topics that you haven't seen me address in this newsletter, please email me your questions to questions@renegademusicmarketing.com I plan to post the first video in this series to my site this Friday. I'll send out a link to the video in this newsletter Friday morning.
Last Call For Renegade Music Marketing
Just two more slots remain for my marketing service to the TV and Film markets at Renegade Music Marketing. Thanks to everyone who submitted music recently, I received some really great submissions this time around and signed several new artists! After these two slots are filled I'll be shutting the program down for new writers for the time being. I'll be launching a new site later this year and will most likely take on a new wave of writers then. But If you're interested in joining the program before the new site and rate increase takes effect visit http://www.howtolicenseyourmusic.com/publishing to submit your music.
Cyber Music Cafe
And finally, I plan to continue my series of interviews with musicians at my other site, Cyber Music Cafe.com. I'm looking for musicians who are making things happen for themselves and have a story to tell. I´m particulary interested in musicians who are making money from their music through licensing, performing and/or selling CDs and want to come on my program and share what they've learned (as well as their music) with other musicians. So if you write great music and have a story you'd like to share please email me at cyber@renegademusicmarketing.com and include both a link to your music as well as info about what you've been up to with respect to licensing, performing, selling CD's etc...
