The economy of music has changed. CD sales are down 25 percent since 2000 and are continuing to decline. I came across this really informative article on Rolling Stone.com about how more and more musicians are turning to music licensing to make money with their music. Music licensing is rapidly replacing the recording industry as the main source of revenue for musicians!
