Several More Artists Needed For My Marketing Service

Clarification Regarding Self Publishing
About a week ago I sent out an email regarding self publishing your music in which I stated that you need to form a separate publishing company in order to license your music without a publisher. Although this is true if you are an ASCAP member (which I am) this is NOT the case with BMI. I just wanted to make sure everyone was clear on this issue. If you're an ASCAP member and you're pitching your music to companies that license music but do not administer publishing then you should register separately as a publisher with ASCAP in order to make sure you receive performance royalties.
