How Licensing Your Music Can Move Your Career Forward

Published: Sun, 02/03/08

Hi ,

Yesterday I read an article about a singer named Yael Naim.  Yael has a song called "New Soul" that is featured in an Apple commercial for the macbook air.  So many people liked Yael's song that she made Itunes top 100 downloaded songs list! People saw the commercial, they heard the song and they went and researched who the artist was.  This is a great example of how licensing your music can potentially do great things for your career.  I think we're going to see more and more of these discoveries.  People are simply discovering artists in much different ways than they used to.

Would you like to learn the nuts and bolts, from A - Z, of how to license your music?  I've put together a program, based on over five years of working in the music licensing business, that covers EVERYTHING you need to know to get started in the business of music licensing.  If you're looking for more than just information on WHO to send your music to and would also like to learn HOW to get started in the business, check out my new program. The program comes with both information on how to get into the business as well as the industry directory with contact information for people working in the business.

If you're already pretty business savvy and feel like your ready to take matters into your own hands, then check out my comprehensive directory of WHO to send your music to. The new 2008 directory has contact information for music industry professionals working in the TV/ Film/Advertising and Video Game aspect of the music business. It's a priceless resource and it's updated (for free) throughout the year and for life.

Good Luck!
